About the Chef:  Tracey Liberatore
Tracey previously co-owned One Flight Down – a restaurant located in downtown Milford, MA. Since selling One Flight Down, she has been running the kitchen at the Marriot Courtyard - Milford, MA two days per week while raising her two young sons. She has also operated a successful catering business through the Courtyard offering luncheons, banquets and dinners. Tracey brings a calming presence to a high-pressured environment - constantly creating delectable, mouth-watering dishes. While the kitchen gets hot, Tracey stays cool!

About the President:  Karen Wheet
Karen, an entrepeneur by nature, has seen a need for high quality produce and specialty foods in the local area for many years. Her love for Vermont and its country stores has spurred on her desire to bring country, home cooked, specialty food products to Mendon.  While gourmet foods are right up her alley, her husband and four children prefer more family-friendly fare. What better way to satisfy both – create a store that offers gourmet and family-friendly meals!

For over 17 years, Karen has owned and operated Write Words, a secretarial and bookkeeping business. She has also been a General Manager for Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. and OEM Marketing Sales, a distribution firm and rep firm, respectively, for the past 16 years. Her background in business management/sales coupled with her high energy level is sure to make The Finest Gourmet a store worth visiting time after time.
